// Personal Project: Where night is a distant memory //
A three month trip across Iceland during the summer months when the sun doesn’t set and the landscape emerges from the harshness of winter. During this time I connected to the landscape in a special and unique way, sleeping under canvas and becoming tuned into the subtleties of each place, the changing light, the movement of the sun.
Where night is a distant memory was shot entirely on 4 x 5 sheet film using a large format field camera.
