When ISIS captured Layla's village and began slaughtering its people, she and her family fled. 

Since 2014, she has kept on the move, sleeping wherever she can. Now ISIS have left and she can finally return home.

As fighting increased in Mosul and people fled the city, Andy was commissioned by Oxfam to travel to Iraq and seek out stories that were indicative of the situation in the country and how it was affecting lives on a human level.
